Men's Basketball wins Cougar Holiday Classic

They improve their season record to 10-2 while bringing home another tournament title

LA Trade-Tech showed their dominance with another pair of double-digit wins at the 2018 Cougar Holiday Classic, hosted by College of the Canyons.  They first defeated Orange Coast College 101-89, and clinched the tournament title by defeating the hosts by a score of 86-68.

Tyler Jelks was named MVP of the tournament, shooting nearly 62% for field goals and scoring 30 points in the Beavers' two games.  Brian Simmons' 25 points earned him all-tournament honors.

The Beavers play at home on Friday night against LA Harbor College.  Tip-off is set for 5 p.m.
